Divya Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Yamuna Expressway implemented all IIT-Delhi road safety recommendations. The State Road Safety Council's yearly report confirms that YEIDA met all 21 safety requirements. The expressway runs through six districts from Gautam Budh Nagar to Aligarh to Mathura to Hathras to Agra to Bulandshahr, and YEIDA asked IIT-Delhi to assess its road safety After its audit, IITDelhi produced a complete safety report in 2019 with critical driving safety measures. The corridor had audible shoulder marks while all shoulder markings disappeared. To ensure safety, central dividers were replaced with flush medians and center guardrails were added. Three Quick Response Team (QRT) vehicles, 11 patrolling cars, six ambulances, five fire engines, nine cranes, and two JCBs strengthen the expressway's emergency response.
