Divya Delhi: Police in Madhya Pradesh arrested a woman and her male acquaintance in connection with the suicide of four persons, including a mother, son, and two children, in Khurai. Manohar Lodhi, 45, his mother, and two youngsters, including a son and daughter, allegedly committed suicide by drinking a deadly substance at their Khurai, Madhya Pradesh, home on July 25 and 26.Lodhi's mother and son died immediately, while he and his daughter died during treatment. Lodhi's wife was accused of cheating with a childhood acquaintance. Lodhi's mother repeatedly declined her friendship and begged her to stay away.Instead of dissolving relationship with her childhood buddy, Lodhi's wife threatened to blame them for dowry. Two to three times, Lodhi's daughter saw her mother in a vulnerable position, police claimed.This suicide was caused by Manohar's wife's illicit relationship with her lover, according to the investigators. Town Inspector Yogendra Singh that both offenders were apprehended and sent to court, where they were jailed. Lodhi's wife and male acquaintance were jailed, and investigations continue.
