Divya Delhi: Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has finally responded to Hamas' refusal to free Israeli hostages. If Hamas doesn't free the hostages by the deadline, Netanyahu will withdraw from the deal. Israel told Hamas to free the hostages by midday. The Israeli PM's ultimatum followed Hamas' assertion that it won't release hostages due to a "violation" of the ceasefire-hostage accord.Netanyahu said the IDF will resume combat until Hamas is defeated if they don't comply. Israel's PM said on X, “If Hamas doesn't return our hostages noon, the ceasefire will end, and fighting will resume until Hamas is defeated.”The Israeli PM also claimed that the Israeli Defense personnel personnel have been mobilised inside and around the Gaza Strip, and will resume aggressive military action to ‘finally defeat’ Hamas if ceasefire fails. The Israeli PM's office said on X, "In light of Hamas's announcement regarding its decision to violate the deal and not release our detainees, last night I authorized the to amass forces inside – and surrounding – the Gaza Strip. This activity is being carried out at this hour and will be concluded very soon.”The PMO said, "The Cabinet's unanimous decision is: If Hamas doesn't return our hostages by noon, the ceasefire ends, and the IDF resumes fighting until Hamas is defeated."Donald Trump also warned Hamas. Trump had told Hamas to free the captives. The president added that if Hamas doesn't free the remaining prisoners from Gaza by noon, the truce arrangement with Israel should be canceled, or “all hell is going to break out.”Trump added, "But as far as I'm concerned, if all the hostages aren't returned by o'clock — I think it's an appropriate time — I would say cancel it and all bets are off and let hell break out."But he said Israel will decide. I speak for myself. He said, "Israel can override it."
