Divya Delhi: According to ESPNcricinfo, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) sign veteran fast bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur to replace Mohsin Khan. ESPNcricinfo reports that Shardul, who went unsold in last year's blockbuster auction, is with LSG in Visakhapatnam. The Rishabh Pant-led team will face Delhi Capitals in the opener. ESPNcricinfo reported that Mohsin tore his right ACL during the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Mohsin recovered from a career-threatening injury following IPL 2022 to play in the final. Since Lucknow's preparatory camp began, Shardul and Uttar Pradesh fast bowler Shivam Mavi has trained with the LSG, according to PNcricinfo. Shardul has scored over 400 runs and taken 34 wickets at 21.67 to help Mumbai reach the Ranji Trophy semi-finals. Fast bowlers have been injured in LSG camp, thus Shardul's inclusion will be welcome.
