Divya Delhi:  Pakistan's travel restrictions have been extended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for an additional three months. Because of worries about polio, the limits have been put in place. The decision was made  at the 41st meeting of the WHO Emergency Committee. A number of officials from nations afflicted by polio participated online in the discussion. According to the WHO, the committee examined the worldwide polio outbreak, the circumstances in Pakistan, and the government's attempts to stop the virus's spread. Along with Afghanistan and Nigeria, Pakistan is one of the three nations in the world where polio is still endemic, according to WHO. The committee's conclusions made clear that the two nations that continue to threaten international efforts to eradicate polio are Pakistan and Afghanistan. These two countries have also been blamed for the poliovirus's worldwide spread.
