Divya Delhi: Indian cricketer Saurav Ganguly almost avoided a serious collision on the Durgapur Expressway. Former Indian cricket captain Ganguly's automobile collided with a speeding lorry while he was traveling to Burdwan for a university event. He did not suffer any severe injuries, though. Reports state that a truck driver abruptly applied the brakes while Ganguly was on his way to Burdwan University for a program. Two vehicles from the Ganguly convoy clashed with one another as the cricketer's driver used the brakes to prevent a collision. According to the police, the event happened on the Durgapur Expressway close to Dadupur. But no one was hurt, except from the automobiles being damaged. Ganguly stopped for 15 to 20 minutes before continuing on to the program, where he spoke with college students. Ganguly attended another event at a Vardhman stadium following the university program. I'm feeling overburdened. Being here in Burdwan feels fantastic. The fact that you invited me makes me even happier. The Burdwan Sports Association, or BDS, had been urging me to attend for a while. Being here today feels fantastic. For fifty years, has collaborated with the Burdwan sports organization. The district has produced a large number of players.
