Divya Delhi: Prithvi Shaw and Musheer Khan got into a violent argument on the first day of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 warm-up match. Prithvi Shaw scored a century and performed admirably against his former team Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy warm-up match.The 25-year-old batsman scored a century off 140 balls and formed a massive 305-run partnership with Arshin Kulkarni. Shaw's innings continued until the score of 181, at which point he was spotted in a conflict with his former teammates.Shaw was seen at deep fine leg, attempting a slog sweep off Musheer Khan. The tensions were rising, but the umpire intervened to calm the situation, enabling Shaw to walk off. According to Cricbuzz, Musheer sledged Prithvi by saying, "Thank you." Shaw became enraged by the send-off and attempted to grasp Musheer's collar while swinging his bat at him. "This is a practice match. They're all former teammates. Such things happen, and everything is fine now," said Ankit Bhawne, Maharashtra's captain. Prithvi Shaw was originally thought to be the next great thing, but there were numerous scandals around him. There were claims of "indiscipline" against him, and his performance had declined. He had hit a difficult patch and was in bad form, hence he was not even picked for IPL 2025.
