Given their historical relationship, the former DOGE head and SpaceX CEO's views on Trump shocked everyone. President Trump revealed that Trump and Musk were at odds after the statements. Musk tweeted on X, “I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They overreached.” Trump stated that he does not want to mend his connection with Musk online. Trump warned his campaign contributor, Elon Musk, that helping Democrats in the elections may have “serious consequences”. When asked if his relationship with Tesla CEO Musk is over, Trump told NBC's Kristen Welker, “I would assume so, yeah.” He stated he won't reconcile with his old ally. I won a landslide election, so I'm too busy. Trump said, "I gave him a lot of breaks, long before this happened, in my first administration, and saved his life, I have no intention of speaking to him."
