Divya Delhi: At the final ceremony of the 62nd All India Shastrotsav competition at Patanjali University, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said Indian scriptures are channels to grasp the mysteries of the cosmos. The Chief Minister stressed that our ancient texts, which cover science, yoga, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy, underpin Indian culture and heritage. CM Dhami added that sages and rishis' research should be modernized as well as conserved. He said the Shastrotsav would propagate Sanskrit and scripture mysteries across India and the world, much as Advaita Vedanta did. He added that the Vedas and scriptures should be presented practically to inspire future generations' faith. Chief Minister Dhami stated that the state government is promoting Sanatan and traditional Indian knowledge to globalize it at the ceremony. He stressed the need to better integrate India's rich Vedic knowledge into education and remarked that presenting old knowledge from a scientific perspective could benefit society. Patanjali University Chancellor Swami Ramdev told the crowd that Sanskrit can lead the world in every subject. He stressed that Sanatan Dharma and ancient Indian scriptures cover all sectors. Swami Ramdev called the All India Shastrotsav a convergence of Sanskrit and culture and noted that all major languages emerged from Sanskrit, something everyone should be proud of. He underscored the necessity to revitalize Sanskrit and Indian knowledge.
