Divya Delhi: Uttar Pradesh is the only state with over 10 airports. The prime minister opened several airports and terminals nationwide. Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, and Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh. Flybig began selling tickets to Shravasti, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, and Aligarh from Lucknow shortly after this inauguration. These are under RCS-UDAN, according to the airline's website, which will increase the number of airports in the country and operationalize routes and airports. After the opening, Uttar Pradesh will have 13 airports, the most in the nation. Due to its lower GDP, Uttar Pradesh, India's most populated state, has lagged in airport infrastructure for years. Airports have expanded, opened new ones like Ayodhya, and built civil enclaves at defensive airfields like Bareilly as infrastructure has improved in the state.
