Divya Delhi:  UPSC released the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2024 results. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the results on the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in. The result includes the UPSC CSE 2024 qualified candidates' PDF files and roll numbers. Combining preliminary, mains, and personality test scores yielded the final merit list. This year, 1009 candidates were chosen. Shakti Dubey won UPSC CSE 2024. He's followed by Harshita Goyal at 2 and Dongre Archit Parag at 3. Shah Margi Chirag and Aakash Garg placed fourth and fifth. Last year, 1016 were recommended for appointment. The general category included 347. EWS: 115, OBC: 303, SC: 165, ST: 86. The UPSC announced 1143 vacancies last year. Additionally, 180 IAS, 200 IPS, and 37 IFS applicants were chosen. 613 individuals were chosen for Central Government Grade A positions and 113 for Grade B positions. UPSC CSE 2023 winner Aditya Srivastava was followed by Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy. Lucknow-born Aditya Srivastava began CSE preparation in October 2017. His 2022 UPSC CSE exam selection earned him IPS. He placed 216th that year. Srivastava is training to become a Bengali IPS officer.
