Divya Delhi: A tragic occurrence occurred in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman purportedly killed herself after her menstruation prevented her from participating in the Navratri ceremonies. The woman, identified as 36-year-old Priyansha Soni, reportedly began her periods on March 30, the first day of Navratri. After ingesting poison, she was sent to the hospital right away, but she passed away while being treated. According to reports, Ms. Soni was excitedly getting ready for Navratri before the nine-day celebrations officially began. She urged her husband Mukesh to bring the necessary items for pooja the day before Chaitra Navratri started. In the meantime, she prepared everything needed to worship the goddess Durga, including grains, flowers, fruits, sweets, and lamps.
