Divya Delhi: A man unexpectedly killed his chachi (aunt) after a decade-long affair. An evening October 9 event occurred in Nasirpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district's Asandra police station area. The deceased's nephew Shravan Kumar and his associate Rajendra Kumar were arrested. The accused helped recover the murder weapon, a knife. Shravan Kumar confessed to a ten-year affair with his aunt during police interrogation. Their affair was complicated by his five-year marriage. The victim, upset with Kumar's neglect and declining financial assistance, pressured Shravan and threatened to tell his family about their connection. Shravan and his companion Rajendra planned her murder out of fear. To disguise their tracks, the pair dumped the weapon beside a canal after the murder. They even simulated a motorcycle accident by breaking the indicator, scratching it, and ruining the number plate to explain Kumar's hand injuries during the murder. At a news conference at the Police Line auditorium, Barabanki Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh described the crime and investigation.
