The institution warned that some candidates are receiving SMS claiming to circumvent the admissions process. BHU confirmed that it does not distribute admission information via WhatsApp or other informal platforms. Multiple student complaints regarding unsolicited texts with dubious links or website URLs prompted this alert. These mails may be scams, therefore the institution advises students to ignore them. For the 2025 academic year, BHU has begun undergraduate course registration. The BHU website, bhu.ac.in or bhucuet.samarth.edu.in, accepts applications from CUET UG 2025 passers till July 31. BHU emphasizes that only admission.help@bhu.ac.in and dmission@bhu.ac.in can send official admission communications. The student portal and candidates' email IDs provide information. The institution reaffirmed that WhatsApp is not used for admission confirmations or information. Students should only trust university portal and email information.
