Divya Delhi:  Uma Rani Dwivedi, the wife of former IAS official Chandrashekhar Dwivedi, has died. She passed away in Lucknow on March 8, 2025. The whole family is grieving over her passing. Gaurav Dwivedi, her youngest son, is an advisor to the Chhattisgarh government and the former vice-chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. Chandrashekhar Dwivedi, a retired IAS officer and Uma Rani's spouse, also died in 2016 at the age of 85. He served as the District Magistrate of Ghazipur, the Director of Local Bodies, the City Magistrate of Lucknow, and the ADM City of Allahabad and Kanpur during his tenure as an IAS officer. In Lucknow's Bhainsakund, he was cremated. In 2016, Gaurav Dwivedi, their youngest son, was named vice-chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. Gaurav has also worked with filmmaker Sudhir Mishra and served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company of filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.
