Divya Delhi: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russia of stalling diplomatic attempts while maintaining its war and occupation. He also said he is working with partners to pressure Russia to modify its behavior. Zelenskyy posted on X, “Spoke with President of Finland @AlexStubb. We reviewed our partner contacts and yesterday's conversation with @POTUS. Peace diplomacy must be coordinated and focused on results. Russia is clearly buying time to continue its war and occupation, the message read. Our partners and we are applying pressure to change Russian behavior. I appreciate everyone who is making sanctions more biting for war criminals.” He said Ukraine is open for negotiations but warned that Russia's “unrealistic demands” will have “tough consequences.” “The war must end at the negotiating table. Present proposals must be clear and practical. Ukraine is ready for any successful negotiation framework. Zelenskyy said Russia must face serious consequences if it keeps imposing unrealistic restrictions and stifling progress.
