Divya Delhi: Near Kadarabad hamlet on the Delhi-Meerut route in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, two Kanwariyas were killed and three others were critically injured after an ambulance drove into their two-wheelers, according to a recent update. An ambulance was returning to Modinagar after dropping off a patient in Meerut when it collided with the Kanwariyas' bike as they were riding from Ghaziabad to Haridwar, according to the preliminary investigation. The media has also reported that the ambulance was going too fast when it hit the bikes, which led to the catastrophic destruction of the bikes due to the vehicle's tremendous velocity. The Kanwariyas who were hurt were riding scooters and motorcycles. The collision was so powerful that it ripped the scooter riders from the road and sent them flying several feet in all directions. The Ghaziabad Traffic Police rose to the challenge and said via Twitter that Traffic Inspector Third wasted no time in directing ambulances to transport the wounded to CHC Sanjay Nagar.
