Divya Delhi: Metro work is going on in Sadar Bazar, in this sequence, on Qutub Road Teliwara, some shops from 2503 to 2510 were sealed from 25th July on the pretext of building weakness, to which Metro officials said that these shops will be kept sealed for about 1 year. And traders will be given compensation for it. On this, senior trader leader Paramjit Singh Pamma said that it is a matter of great sadness. Almost 2 months are about to pass. Metro has not yet decided how much compensation it will give to the traders for 1 year so that traders can rent their shops or warehouses in future. Because the coming time is of festivals. If the goods of the traders are not sold, then they will suffer a huge loss. And as the festivals are coming closer, the rents of shops and warehouses are also increasing. Paramjit Singh Pamma said that whenever we talk to the Metro officials, they are making some excuse or the other and are keeping the traders hanging. Due to which the traders are wandering here and there every day due to problems, neither are they able to rent shops nor are they able to do any work. Paramjit Singh Pamma said, if the Metro does not find a solution soon, then he along with the traders will stage a sit-in protest against the Metro.
