Over ₹42,000 crore project would be inaugurated, according to Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Projects include virtual inaugurations and foundation stone laying for 16 airports nationwide, totaling about ₹9,800 crore. Pune, Kolhapur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Delhi, Lucknow, Aligarh, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Shravasti, and Adampur airports will get new terminal structures. PM Modi will also unveil a Raj Mata Vijayraje Scindia statue and virtually launch the Gwalior airfield terminal. Scindia observed that this is the first day in 75 years to open or lay foundation stones for 16 airports.In a public program, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹42,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh at midday.
