Divya Delhi: In a welcome announcement from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the GDA has advanced the proposed Harnandipuram township project. Tuesday, GDA officials said that a private consultant will create a detailed project report (DPR) to speed up the project near the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. The Phase 1 DPR should be finished in two months. GDA media coordinator Rudresh Shukla stated that a private organization has begun work on the report. The GDA solicited consultant bids in April, and the winning agency pledged to submit the report on schedule. Parallel to this, the GDA is buying land directly from farmers for the first phase of the township, which comprises Mathurapur, Shamsher, Champat Nagar, Bhandara Khurd, and Nagla Firozpur Mohan. The administration wants land from eight settlements. The projected city near the Delhi-Meerut Road and RRTS corridor offers improved connectivity and contemporary amenities. Modern amenities including smart street lighting, metro and RRTS access, and electricity management would be in the township, officials said. The GDA is also building a new elevated route to connect Harnandipuram township residents to Delhi directly. The Hindon elevated route, which connects Karhera Rotary to UP-Gate without signals, will be the model for this road. The new route behind Rajnagar Extension will connect Harnandipuram to Delhi directly.
