Divya Delhi: A youngster shot three individuals, including a woman, at a crowded intersection in Times Square on Saturday, the New York Post said, citing police sources. The New York Police Department (NYPD) said that a youngster opened fire after an argument near 44th Street and 7th Avenue at 1:20 a.m. Hearing the gunfire, the throng outside the famed Hard Rock Cafe stampeded and ran in panic, the New York Post reported. The injured included an 18-year-old woman shot in the neck and two 19- and 65-year-old men with leg injuries. Police say those injured were admitted to Bellevue Hospital and are stable. The NY Post said that the guy was detained and a handgun discovered at the scene. Due of his age, the gunman has not been named or charged. This massacre comes a week after an AR-15-wielding gunman killed four people, including an off-duty police officer, in a Manhattan tower before killing himself. The attack occurred at 345 Park Avenue, a 44-story Midtown Rudin Management building that houses Blackstone and the NFL. The event panicked rush-hour business district users.
