Divya Delhi:  Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, found a captivating post by X user Aaraynsh (@aaraynsh). His tweet showed breathtaking photographs of Kanhakund, the Grand Canyon of Odisha. This natural beauty is 120 kilometers from Sambalpur. Aaraynsh called it ‘an underappreciated hidden gem.’ Writing, “Clear blue waters pass through granite beds. Why aren't such sites on India's tourism map? Anand Mahindra called the post ‘AMAZING’. He also tagged Odisha Tourism, asking, “What can we do to make this first a national destination and then a global hot spot???” He wrote, “No need to compare it to the Grand Canyon. This is unique. These photographs may be manipulated, but the formations are certainly real. Mahindra received a rapid response from Odisha Tourism's official X handle. Thanks, they said! I'm glad you're interested in Kanhakund, one of Odisha's most beautiful hidden gems that could become a national and worldwide attraction. The staff stressed their dedication to presenting Kanhakund and other overlooked jewels. They wrote that they are improving infrastructure, developing sustainable tourism experiences, and marketing distinctive places on national and international platforms. We think Odisha's unknown destinations would shine with your support.” A user said, “Love the promotion, we should build infrastructure around these beauties to preserve and make money.” Another said, “Odisha holds some amazing places which till date not even mainstreamed in India, glad to see Mr Mahindra checking it out hope Odisha Tourism will reply with all details.” The third user said, “These do look amazing!” Fourth user: “Looks stunning. Tourism should be promoted, but please limit daily visitors and preserve the site.”
