Divya Delhi: At six locations across four states and one union territory, the National Testing Agency (NTA) retook the NEET-UG exam on Sunday, reassessing 1,563 participants. Out of 1,563 candidates, 813 took the retest today, while 750 did not show up for the exam, according to the testing panel. Students at six locations in Meghalaya, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Chandigarh were given grace marks to make up for time lost because of the exam's delayed start. However, the NTA later removed these grace marks. Neither of the two students who were supposed to take the NEET-UG retest in Chandigarh really showed up. The exam was supposed to take place at two locations in Chhattisgarh, and 602 people were supposed to be able to retake it. To take the test today, 291 people showed up. For 494 applicants, the necessary arrangements were made at two test centers in Haryana. Out of this total, 287 students decided to take the test. Out of 464 eligible students, 234 sat the test today in Meghalaya. One candidate was retested in Gujarat. After the Supreme Court's order, the NTA reversed the compensatory marks that these candidates had received. The NTA-appointed panel had resolved to nullify the results for 1,563 test takers and provide them the chance to retake the exam. June 23 was the date set for the re-examination. Before June 30th, you will hear the news about the same.
