Divya Delhi:  As of March 2025, foreign investors have pulled out a net amount of Rs 31,719 crore from the Indian share market, marking a major outflow. Notably, there were also significant withdrawals from the Indian share market in earlier months. The net withdrawals made by Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) in February and January of 2025 were Rs 34,574 crore and Rs 78,027 crore, respectively. As a result, these investors have already withdrew a total of Rs 1,44,320 crore in 2025. The share market's liquidity is adversely affected by the withdrawal of foreign investors. The demand for other shares may decline as a result of these investors' usual concentration on businesses with significant growth potential. Their stock values may consequently decline, and the performance of the market as a whole may also decline.
