Divya Delhi: When Naushad (Samir Soni, playing a dubious character) dies, the film ‘Sare Jahan Se Achcha’ has a weak climax and lacks direction. But Jai Hindus part) is outed by R&AW and pressured to betray his country; they let him die. Pratik Gandhi is a reliable actor even in bad circumstances. He plays an R&AW agent seeking to stop Pakistan from getting a nuclear bomb in his new nationalistic Netflix series, thankfully just 6 episodes long. Pratik and his character, Vishnu Shankar, look unprepared. Pakistanis are portrayed as dumb, insane fools in such ardent flag-waving appeals. Vishnu and his bride by default, Mohini (Tilottama Shome, peculiarly out of place), move to Islamabad to spy on the Pakistani government, a reckless action. Once he takes the dare, Vishnu conducts his undercover activities in a manner similar to how Kapil Sharma interrogates his guests. Anyone miles ahead can see Vishnu is not vacationing in Pakistan. Not the clever Murtuza Malik, who is to this series what Major General Hamid Iqbal was to Gadar. Murtuza is vicious and crazy, killing many for kaum and country. I wanted Murtuza (Sunny Hinduja in an Anupam Kher wig) to calm down a bit to tone down his villainy. Indian spies also act improperly. Following his outing, they let R&AW-blackmailed informer Naushad (Samir Soni, bringing meat to his questionable character) die. Naushad ends.
