Divya Delhi : By granting a John Doe order to stop the unauthorized use of the 1994 Hindi film Andaz Apna Apna's characters, title, dialogue, and artistic components, the Delhi High Court has temporarily protected the film's intellectual property rights.More than thirty people and organizations have been barred by the court from "reproducing, using, or commercially exploiting content related to the film without permission". The legal heir of the film's late producer, Vinay Sinha, Shanti Vinaykumar Sinha, represented Vinay Pictures in the litigation. The petitioner had presented a convincing argument for protection, according to Justice Amit Bansal, who granted the ex parte interim injunction. The order addresses infringement in a number of areas, including domain names, digital content, goods, and content produced by artificial intelligence. In his remarks, Justice Bansal stated, "The plaintiff has demonstrated a prima facie case for grant of an interim injunction in its favour, and in case ex-parte and interim injunction is not granted, the plaintiff will suffer an irreparable loss."
