Divya Delhi:  The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demonstrated once more that development, trust, and sound government are more important than showmanship and treachery. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration won a resounding victory in the most recent Delhi Assembly elections, shattering the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) meticulously crafted but ultimately vacuous narrative. The overwhelming vote is a warning sign for the AAP's future in Punjab as well as a rejection of the party's poor leadership. Since its founding, the AAP has positioned itself as a party that supports open government and free from corruption. Ironically, it is currently enmeshed in political opportunism, failed promises, and corruption scandals. The weight of inconsistencies and dishonesty caused the so-called "new-age governance" to collapse. The hypocrisy of the party that formerly professed to oppose the VIP culture has been exposed by the liquor fraud, unrestrained extravagant spending on personal luxuries, and Kejriwal's luxurious "Sheesh Mahal" home. After entering politics with the promise of bringing honesty and openness, Arvind Kejriwal has suddenly come to represent everything he once opposed. Since the BJP responded with reasonable incentives based on economic restraint, the freebie politics that initially garnered him support have lost their shine.
