Divya Delhi: The Women's Premier League (WPL) 3rd edition starts  There is a lot of hype around the tournament as top elite players will colab and play one of the best competition. In the next 3rd edition, some players will be watched.Shafali returned to domestic cricket after being dropped by India last November. She was the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy's highest run-scorer, with 527 runs at a strike rate of 152.31 and an average of 75.29. She also excelled in the Senior Women's One Day Challenger Trophy, scoring 414 runs with a strike rate of 145.26 and an average of 82.80.Few batters are as aggressive as Shafali at the top of the order. She had a successful opening partnership with Meg Lanning at DC. If Shafali keeps up her form, she could return to India's selection for the  World Cup and the England tour in July.Reddy was cut from the India team despite good play. She grabbed seven wickets in last year's T20 World Cup, tied for most in India. After playing just one match during India’s disastrous tour of Australia, where she took 4 for 26 in Perth, Reddy shined in WPL 2024 with the ball for DC, which helped her secure a future national comeback. Reddy is a valuable seam-bowling allrounder due to her ability to bowl precise yorkers and move the ball both ways. Reddy could help India if Pooja Vastrakar's injury status is unclear.Gautam first attracted prominence in 2020 after taking ten wickets, including a hat trick, in an Under-19 one-dayer for Chandigarh. GG bought her for Rs 2 crore at the December 2023 auction. But an injury kept her from WPL 2024. She had a triumphant comeback in domestic one-dayers earlier this season. Gautam, a fast-bowling allrounder, can produce pace and hit the deck hard—qualities India lacked in their  series in Australia and home games last season.Since the 2022 ODI World Cup, six left-arm spinners have been tested in India, but none have stuck. Radha Yadav had a successful comeback after a solid WPL 2023 campaign, collecting ten wickets in nine matches, and a similar performance from Ishaque might enable her add to her four international caps.Bhatia's prospects of making India's XI seem minimal, as injuries have limited her opportunities and Richa Ghosh is a big-hitting finisher. Bhatia played three ODIs against New Zealand last October but missed the Australia tour due to a wrist ailment from her maiden WBBL stint.
