Divya Delhi: April 21 saw Ghaziabad Police find a teenage girl's body in Masuri Ganga Canal. Her body was in a plastic bag. The villagers called the police after seeing the bag in the bushes. PTI said that a top police official claimed the girl had no external injuries. The girl wore pants and shirt. He estimated the deceased's age at 16-17. Police believe the youngster was murdered two or three days prior based on her decomposing condition. Police believe the body was tossed from a rail or car. The body is unidentified. An after-36-hour postmortem has been ordered by the police. Police said the remains will be cremated according to protocol if no one claims it. A senior police official stated a probe is underway to determine the offence's cause. Two recent stabbings in Delhi have sparked safety concerns. Krishna, 18, was stabbed in Yamuna Vihar's Bhajanpura Police Station on April 21. Initial investigations by the Delhi Police reveal the victim and accused are acquainted.
