Large Crowd Gathers Outside Ahmedabad Voting Booth for PM Modi

DIVYA DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi voted in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections this morning at an Ahmedabad school. A polling booth located at Ranip's Nishan Higher Secondary School.
The Prime Minister arrived at the polls after 7:30 am. The two leaders walked to the booth after Amit Shah welcomed him. A large crowd clapped and chanted for PM Modi from the roadside. He signed a supporter's Prime Minister image on his way to the polling booth. The Prime Minister exhorted the populace to vote in huge numbers outside the booth because it is very important in a democracy. "'Daan' holds immense significance in our nation, and in keeping with that spirit, citizens ought to cast as many ballots as they can. There are still four vote rounds to go, PM Modi stated. In addition, he offered advice for the journalists covering the elections nonstop: "Be mindful of your health and stay hydrated." Later in the day, Mr. Shah, who is running from Gandhinagar, and his family went to cast their votes.
