 Sports Min Mandaviya, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan Lead Nationwide Fit India Cycle Event

Divya Delhi:   Junagadh, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Regional Centre in Gandhinagar hosted around 500 bikers from the Girnar Gate to the Bhavnath Mahadev temple. The SAI Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education organized the demonstration in Trivandrum, which ran 7km from the Cliff House to the Central Stadium. This week's Cycle highlighted schoolchildren nationwide who cycled with their parents and teachers. “You can make a lifelong friendship with cycling, so make this exercise your best friend,” Mandaviya told Junagadh festival attendees. The enormous number of schoolchildren participating in Sundays on Cycle shows that Fit India is becoming a nationwide festival. Health is vital to national progress. Khelo India Centres (KICs) held active cycling drives in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh areas including Shivtarai, Janjgir Champa, Darbhanga, and Orai. Over 500 fitness enthusiasts, cycling groups, and organizations from Kerala, including Indian Army CRPF, BSF, NCC, Kerala Police (SAP), Kerala Police (Traffic), Crime Branch, Collectorate, FCI, RBI, Department of Sports, Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, KRCC, KSSC, NSS, Trivandrum Golf Club, Kerala Olympic Association, and Kerala Cycling Association, participated in The Fit India Sundays on Cycle event in Delhi featured famous athletes. Boxer Sonia Lather and Asian U-22 Championships 2024 gold medalist and Khelo India program athlete Prachi Dhankhar attended.
