Divya Delhi: Strong intentions immediately construct the route. Divyendu Chowdhary from West Bengal got into IIT via hard work and confidence, even amid tough situations. His life was rocky from the start. His mother was a housewife and his father sold fish. He survived their poor financial status. Born in Sattari, a tiny village in Malda, West Bengal, Divyendu's life was difficult from the start. His first school was the village's government school, which lacked books, a good environment, and coaching. Divyendu's passion for science kept him going despite these challenges. After 12th grade at Malda Town High School, he studied Physics Honours at Bidhannagar Government College, Kolkata. He started preparing for the difficult IIT JAM exam, which most students take with tutoring, here. Divyendu, however, studied alone and passed the difficult IIT JAM exam on his first try. He is doing an MSc in Earth Science at IIT Kharagpur. His success inspires families with minimal resources to educate their children.
