Divya Delhi: At an Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) event in Delhi on World Liver Day, April 19, Union Home Minister Amit Shah discussed his fitness and weight-loss journey. In his talk, Shah encouraged the young of India to lay greater attention on their health and well-being. Shah recounted his own health transformation experience, attributing his accomplishment to simple yet powerful lifestyle adjustments. He said he improved his sleep, nutrition, water, and exercise to improve his health. “Since May 2019, I have made tremendous strides,” he said. Proper sleep, clean water, decent diet, and continuous exercise have brought about a tremendous shift in my life. I stopped taking allopathic drugs 4.5 years ago "proudly. Shah said his journey improved his emotional and physical health. He said his new health has helped his work, critical thinking, and decision-making. He advised: “I encourage everyone to prioritize their physical and mental health. Dedicate two hours to exercise for your body, and six hours of sleep for your mind. This is my experience, and it made all the difference." The Union Home Minister underlined the significance of exercise and rest for overall wellness. He also asked corporations to promote liver health and support liver treatment and care research. Shah hopes his story will inspire others to live healthier and show that small adjustments may have big impacts.
