Dipika has refused offers to portray other roles, insisting on playing Sita. Dipika told Siddharth Kannan that she was offered the role of Sita's mother, Kaushalya, in a television serial. Her brother told her, “You are known as Sita, and you should die as Sita.” This suggestion convinced her to remain with her beloved persona. I recognized that people know me as Sita Ji, and nothing will be as popular as Ramayan," Dipika said of her longtime relationship with Sita. Why mess with my image?
