Divya Delhi:  A huge asteroid is headed toward Earth this week, according to a warning from NASA. Asteroid 2025 DA15, a 110-foot celestial body that is almost twice as large as the Taj Mahal, has been spotted by the US space agency. It is scheduled to strike Earth on March 23, 2025, at 9:24 PM IST. The asteroid will pass at a safe distance of 6,480,000 kilometers, but astronomers and scientists are interested in it because of its high speed trajectory of 77,282 km/h. The astounding speed of this 110-foot-wide asteroid will be 77,282 kilometers per hour. With a breadth of 540 feet (165 meters), the enormous space rock is approximately twice as large as the Taj Mahal. But NASA does not consider it a Potentially Hazardous Asteroid (PHA) in spite of its size and speed. Asteroids larger than 140 meters in diameter that come within 7.5 million kilometers of Earth are designated as PHAs.
