Divya Delhi: The UK Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) allowed 44-year-old Pakistani doctor Suhail Anjum to return to work after compromising with a nurse. He was found in an operating room with a nurse after leaving a Manchester hospital patient midway through operation. Consultant anesthetist Suhail Anjum was charged in 2023. MPTS cleared him to practice. A UK medical tribunal heard the case.According to sources, consultant anesthesiologist Dr. Suhail Anjum left a gall bladder surgery patient midway at Tameside Hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester. The doctor was seen compromising with a nurse in another operation room. The couple were captured by another nurse in the theater.The BBC said that a nurse entering the theatre observed the woman “with her trousers around her knee area with her underwear on display” while Dr. Anjum was “tying up the cord of his trousers” and caught them in a “compromising positionAnjum, a father of three, acknowledged to leaving the patient and exercising with the nurse at a recent MPTS hearing. His return to Pakistan followed the incident.
