Divya Delhi: Aakash and Shloka Ambani's 2019 wedding was a glorious start to their marriage before Anant and Radhika Merchant's 2024 wedding. Aakash then became Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd.'s chairman, a position he still occupies. Shloka aspired to work in social services. Shloka co-founded ConnectFor with Maniti Shah, and in a recent podcast, she discussed her career as a founder and what it takes to run a non-profit. ConnectFor partners with NGOs and volunteers nationwide. The ‘About Us’ part of their website identifies them as a “non-profit organisation that seeks to contribute to the developmental sector by facilitating engagement of the volunteering community, building capacity, and creating value-added services for NGOs”. Shloka appeared on Masoom Minawala's YouTube channel to explain her company's vision and challenges. In essence, ConnectFor is Shaadi.com for volunteering. We started with the simple concept that many people desire to do good but struggle to find the means. We have many NGOs in our country, so we decided to connect those who wanted to help with those who needed it.”
