Divya Delhi: Seeya Fashion Week 2024 Celebrates Designers and Models, Revolutionizing the traditional fashion week format, Seeya Fashion Week 2024 offers a dynamic blend of emerging and seasoned talents, fueled by an intensive three-month mentorship program. New Delhi, Seeya Fashion Week 2024, spearheaded by The Seeya Sttory and founded by Seema Vashishth, took place at Bella Monde, NH8, Gurgaon. The event brought together an illustrious panel of guests of honor, including legendary ghazal singer Peenaz Masani, BJP spokesperson Shazia Ilmi, television actress Akanksha Pal, and Vijay Chaudhary, founder of the Ramrattan Group. What sets Seeya Fashion Week 2024 apart is its groundbreaking approach—an intensive three-month mentorship program designed to nurture budding designers from across India and abroad. Under the expert guidance of Jigyasa Jolly, owner of Modocaldo, these designers were not only honed in their craft but were also given the opportunity to showcase their collections in a high-profile runway show. The Fashion stylist on board was Neha Bhatia.  The event opened with Bollywood designer Rosy Ahluwalia’s stunning collection Nazrana, with actress Akanksha Pal as the showstopper. The lineup of participating designers was a mix of both established and emerging talents. Emerging designers who participated are Paramjit Kaur – Punjab, Diksha Singh- Greater Noida, Kiran Tuteja – Delhi, Shalaka Sreeram – Delhi, Mobin A Ansari-Varanasi, Sayeeda Khan – Bikaner, Mitrabinda Rath – Odisha, Isha Aggarwal- Delhi, Smarika Sahay- Noida, Akanksha Shankar – Gurgaon, Annavita Lanong – Meghalaya, Pushpa Pal – Prayagraj, Clay Howard- San Francisco, USA, Anamika Gautam – Delhi, Shipra Singh  - Gurgaon. A highlight of the event was the collaboration with the NGO SURE, supported by NABARD, which featured the work of 777 artisans from the Meghwal community. These artisans, guardians of the Thar Desert’s cultural heritage, showcased their intricate craftsmanship, offering a unique fusion of tradition and contemporary fashion. In addition, Seeya Fashion Week shone a spotlight on Annavita from Meghalaya, a designer dedicated to sustainable fashion, whose eco-friendly creations made from recycled products added a powerful message of environmental responsibility to the show. The event wasn't limited to designers—it also provided a platform for six budding models, who were expertly trained by Alankrita Shahi, owner of Oneira, ensuring that both designers and models alike were set for success on the runway. The budding models were –Dr Parul Mahajan, Soni R Rachel, Deepti Gupta, Divya Gupta, Anuradha Jain and Samuel. The 2024 edition successfully launched 15 new designers, offering a diverse array of collections, from traditional ethnic wear such as lehengas and sarees to modern cosmopolitan attire like cord sets, dresses, and gowns. Prominent established designers, including Riya Rastogi from Narmadeshwari, Mitlesh Upadhyaya from Black Pearl, Kingshuk Bhaduri from Kamakhya, Kajol Sahu from Kohl, and Dr. Snigdha Majumder from Blue Wardrobe, also showcased their latest creations, captivating the audience with their ingenuity. The show was beautifully choreographed by Syed Khizar Hussain, masterfully emceed by Sudarshan R. Chetlur and captured by the talented team from Delhi College of Photography(founder Mr Pratik Dhawan). The Digital Marketing partner was Sark Promotions (founder Dr Shubhangi Gupta). The evening also featured a mesmerizing performance by Ms Mamta Kumari, a budding singer who enchanted the audience with her soulful melodies. The Jury for the event included Mr Abhijeet Khanna, Ms Jigyasa Jolly and Ms Renesa Rastogi.
