DIVYA DILHI: Authorities in West Bengal were ordered to retain digital records of the alleged recruiting scheme, which the court called “systemic fraud”.The Supreme Court suspended the Calcutta High Court's order to fire 25,000 teachers and non-teachers from West Bengal's state-run and state-aided institutions on Tuesday. On April 22, the high court rejected the appointment of 25,753 teachers and non-teaching personnel in West Bengal's state-run and state-aided institutions, threatening thousands of employment. A bench of Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justices J B Pardiwala, and Manoj Misra heard a series of petitions challenging the high court's decision and said that if the CBI's taint against nearly 8000 teachers is upheld, they will have to refund their salaries.
