Divya Delhi:  Saif Ali Khan was stabbed numerous times by an intruder at his Mumbai home on January 16, 2025. The actor revealed in a recent interview that he is now accompanied by security after the terrible experience. Saif Ali Khan told ETimes how the incident altered his life. “My takeaway is to lock doors and be careful. Many lack what we have. I'm grateful, but we must be careful. Lock stuff. Ban access points. And improve security.”He dislikes people yet needs security. It's sad, he said. I never trusted security. I hate having people around, but I guess they're necessary for now. My time wasn't up. Maybe I should make more good films... enjoy more family and friend time. Be more charitable!” Sara Ali Khan, Saif's daughter, previously discussed the attack and how the family felt grateful once the star was safe. “It makes you realize what matters,” she said. The whole family was grateful since it could have gone wrong. Thank goodness everything is fine. It almost reminded us of our life. We discuss mental health practise. Being appreciative for life is crucial. Such events help you realize it.” The Netflix film ‘Jewel Thief’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat is next. The film opens April 25.
