Divya Delhi: Union minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan said he is "saddened to support such a government" because the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government has failed to stem rising crime. According to Chirag Paswan, he regrets supporting this regime.Murders, kidnappings, looting, robbery, and rapes have occurred one after another in Bihar, and the administration seems powerless to stop them. If this continues, our state will be in danger. He added, “I also believe these incidents are a conspiracy to defame the government. The administration must still control it. The administration is either in cooperation with it or has become ineffective and cannot protect Bihar and Biharis. I request prompt action from the Bihar government. Chirag Paswan made this statement after a Gaya gang-rape was reported. In Bodh Gaya, Bihar, an ambulance driver and technician allegedly raped a woman on the way to the hospital. She fainted during Home Guard recruitment at the BMP-3 parade ground on July 24. The woman collapsed during a race during the physical examination stage and was reportedly raped instead of obtaining medical help. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anand Kumar confirmed in an official statement that the victim reported the attack after regaining consciousness. Her complaint resulted to the prompt arrest of technician Ajit Kumar and ambulance driver Vinay Kumar.
