Divya Delhi:  A son killed his 70-year-old mother in Raipur, Chattisgarh, in a startling incident when she refused to give him Rs 200 so he could get a German Shepherd puppy. The horrific event had place near Raipur's Urla police station. The son drives an e-rickshaw and is known as Pradeep Devangan. Within a day, he was taken into custody by the police. In order to purchase a puppy, Pradeep had begged his mother for ₹200, but she had declined. The two got into a fight as a result. When his mother was laying on the bed, Pradeep struck her with a hammer out of rage. Pradeep also beat his wife when she tried to stop him after hearing the commotion. She is receiving treatment at the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hospital in Raipur after being hurt in the attack.
