Ravinder Indraj Singh: Who Is He? The Bawana-born new cabinet minister for the BJP

Divya Delhi: CM Rekha Gupta will appoint six cabinet ministers, including BJP members Parvesh Sahib Singh, Kapil Mishra, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Ashish Sood, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, in a major step for Delhi's new administration. At today's lavish swearing-in event at Ramlila Maidan, Ravinder Indraj Singh, who won the Bawana   seat by a margin of more than 31,000 votes in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, also took the oath of office as cabinet minister. In front of Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the chief ministers of the several states in the current   Government, lieutenant governor VK Saxena administered the oath of office to the new Delhi Chief Minister and other ministers. Ravinder Indraj Singh, a native of the Bawana constituency in North Delhi, studied remote learning for his advanced degree. He reportedly graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delhi's School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education. During his lifetime, his father, Indraj Singh, was also elected as an MLA from the Narela constituency. The electoral affidavit states that the BJP leader has assets valued at over Rs 7 crore. Additionally, he is not currently facing any criminal charges. BJP's Scheduled Caste Front executive member Ravinder Indraj Singh is a well-known Dalit leader. He defeated Congressman Surender Kumar and AAP member Jai Bhagwan Upkar to win the Bawana seat.
