Divya Delhi: The houses of Malayalam stars Dulquer Salmaan and Prithviraj Sukumaran were raided during Operation “Numkhor.” The Customs Preventive Wing is investigating. The Kerala-wide operation targeted unlawful Bhutanese automobile imports. Authorities are probing Bhutanese vehicles imported with fraudulent registrations to dodge taxes, according to PTI. Officials verified that Dulquer and Prithviraj's car documents are being reviewed.The operation, named after Bhutanese term “Numkhor” for vehicle, encompasses Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, and Malappuram. About 15 infractions have been reported. Actor Amit Chakkalackal's automobiles are also under investigation. The police believe over 100 Land Rovers, Land Cruisers, and Prados were smuggled into Kerala and bought by Malayalam stars.Both had a successful year professionally despite the scandals. Prithviraj starred and directed L2 Empuraan, a sequel to the Rs 265 crore global hit “Lucifer.” In “Lokaah: Chapter 1 – Chandra,” Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nasleen appear. Dulquer Salmaan produced.
