Divya DElhi: A court sent Dattatray Ramdas Gade, the Pune bus rape suspect, to police custody until March 12.The police said that Gade nicknamed the 26-year-old lady “didi” (sister). He then raped her in an empty “Shiv Shahi” bus at Swargate depot. Gade, 37, is accused of many crimes in Pune and Ahilyanagar, according to a newspaper. On the day of the event, bus station surveillance showed him plainly. His mobile phone data is still being recovered by police. He faces six cases, five of which involve women. Police stated they haven't found Gade's phone data. They also noted that women have submitted five of his six allegations. a Pune court put Gade in police detention until March 12. He was nabbed late Thursday night in a paddy field in Shirur, Pune, after a long drone and sniffer dog hunt. The search involved 13 police teams and technology, but another official said people's information was vital to finding Gade. Police apprehended and transported Gade to the Pune Sessions Court under strong police protection. Police urged the court to hold Gade for 14 days. He attempted suicide by hanging from a dry tree in a field, but the rope snapped. He was afraid of the authorities. The accused had a ligature mark, according to the primary medical report. He also said the complainant entered the bus alone. Khan informed the court that they both agreed to their physical relationship.
