Pune Railway Station Redesign Includes Four New Platforms; Details Inside

Divya Delhi: Pune locals would benefit from another project announced by the Union Railway Minister. In a press release, Union train Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the government will entirely transform Pune train station due to its historic and economic significance. He noted that this big endeavor will give the railway station world-class amenities, including four additional platforms. Additionally, Vaishnaw stated that the development plan for six railway stations—Pune, Hadapsar, Khadki, Shivajinagar, Uruli Kanchan, and Alandi—is nearing completion. He also said he and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had discussed a Pune–Nagpur Vande Bharat train. There are trial runs on new alignments for the Pune–Nashik railway corridor, which is strategic due to Khodad's world-class testing center. The Pune–Lonavala third and fourth railway lines will also be finished soon.”
