Public Australia-India match tickets sell out fast, leaving fans waiting!

Divya Delhi: Cricket enthusiasts, especially Indian diaspora fans, are excited about the October/November Australia vs. India white ball series. Cricket Australia reported that over 90,000 tickets were sold for the eight white ball matches after two weeks of public sales, following record Ashes ticket sales. The MCG T20I and Gabba T20II are very popular, while the SCG ODI and Manuka Oval (Canberra) T20I sold out four months in advance. Cricket Australia reports that Indian fan clubs have bought over 16% of tickets. One of the most active fan organizations, Bharat Army, bought nearly 2,400 tickets. Fans India bought about 1,400 tickets. Amit Goyal from Brissy Baniyas, an Aggarwal community, bought 880 Gabba T20I tickets, becoming the biggest individual buyer for a single match. The Indian Community of Gold Coast and Pakka Local each bought over 500 tickets for the Gold Coast and MCG T20Is. Cricket Australia's Joel Morrison, Executive General Manager Events & Operations, said, “Exhausting our public ticket allocation for the SCG ODI and Manuka Oval T20I four months before the series is a testament to the tremendous interest for the upcoming season amongst cricket fans.”
