Divya Delhi: KKavitha, daughter of former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, gets harmed. She launched her 72-hour hunger strike Monday, requesting 42% reservation for backward classes in employment, schools, and local governments. Her party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi, isn't going. Nobody has defended her while political rivals and party colleagues taunt and mock her. Even her brother and party working president KT Rama Rao hasn't spoken. To make matters worse, she was removed as honorary president of the BRS-affiliated Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS). Kavitha, a BRS politician, accused “party insiders” of instigating her attackers and questioned BRS “brothers”' silence. What’s up with BRS’ ‘first family’? Her relatives greeted her outside Tihar jail in August when she was released on bail for the booze fraud. She kissed her brother KT Rama Rao's hand while crying. A year later, she seems lonely and abandoned by her family. Her ‘letter bomb’ scandal persists. Not because her father is furious over the letter, in which she disagreed with his manner of working, but because her party completely abandoned her. Party insiders said the father called the daughter "three or four times" but the brother has stopped talking to her.
