Divya Delhi :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone about developing India-Russia's special and privileged strategic alliance and preparing for Putin's December visit to India in the call, PM Modi wished President Putin good health and success on his 73rd birthday.Russian President's Office: “In a phone call, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi offered his best wishes to Vladimir Putin for his birthday. Both parties expressed enthusiasm in deepening India-Russia's special and privileged strategic partnership and briefly addressed preparations for the Russian President's December visit to India.PM Modi called the Russian President to wish him a happy birthday. The presidents discussed bilateral achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening India-Russia cooperation.The statement said Prime Minister Modi looks forward to receiving President Putin to India for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit in December. Russian President Putin also spoke to Prime Minister Modi by phone, reinforcing their strong and long-standing relationship. According to the Kremlin website, the Russian leader discussed the exchange with government officials.Putin stressed that Russian-Indian relations are “based on a national consensus.” India's governance and economic prosperity under Modi was also lauded.
