Divya Delhi: In response to the farmers' protest, security has been imposed at the Haryana-Punjab Shambhu border. Concrete blocks that had been put up at the border to prevent farmers from moving farther from the protest site were taken down by Haryana Police on Thursday morning. At the Haryana-Punjab Shambhu Border, police officers used bulldozers to tear down concrete obstacles. Due to their numerous demands, the farmers are protesting. The Khanauri border between Punjab and Haryana has also seen an increase in security. Late in the evening Punjab police cleared the farmers from the protest location. Following Punjab Police's intervention, Patiala Senior Superintendent of Police Nanak Singh had said that the entire road will be cleared and made accessible to traffic.
